MicroWorlds EX Digibook Instructions

For Mrs. Ossorio's Technology Classes

October 2010

Create a storyboard which will map out the pages of your digital book.

Slides/ Information required:
- Slide 1 - Title
- Slide 2 - Slide 11 Story Content pages
- Slide 12 - The End
- Slide 13 - About the Author

Note-You may have more than 10 content pages

You must turn in your Story Board page completed before beginning your Digital Book in MicroWorlds.
Ideas:
- Math, Science, LA, History concept book
- Non-fiction, Science Fiction, Historical Fiction
- How to
- Creative writing story

Use MicroWorlds to write your digibook
Each page should be created as described on the Powerpoint Storyboard
Your book will have a minimum of 13 pages
Your book should be colorful, creative, animated, interactive and fun to read
You may illustrate with any images, backgrounds and sounds available with MicroWorlds along with your original drawings and art
You may not use any images from the Internet
Save as filename: digibook_lastname

Grading Rubrics
- There are two different grading rubrics in the linked Excel file
  - Standard Digibook Rubric sheet, minimum 13 pages
  - Alphabet Digibook Rubric sheet, minimum of 29 pages
- Both grading rubrics evaluate elements on each digibook page.
